Position Summary

As a senior manager of Threat Defense Operations reporting to the Senior Director, Cyber Defense, you will have a unique opportunity to help evolve, implement, and operationalize the future of defense at Johnson & Johnson.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead and manage the Threat Defense Operations (TDO) team, including L1 and L2 SOC analyst teams.
Ensure and supervise efficient and effective 24/7 monitoring and response capabilities covering Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) assets.
Act as an escalation point for L1 and L2 SOC teams in support of incident triage and investigation.
Lead and manage accountability in delivery of managed security services by Johnson & Johnson partners.
Develop and implement SOC strategies, policies, playbooks, and procedures.
Identify and remediate people, process and technology gaps that impact the ability of TDO to achieve its mission.
Lead all aspects of the implementation of SOC tools and technologies.
Perform metric gathering, review, reporting and delivery.
Communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders on security matters.
Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations of SOC staff.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
Required:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience is required.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in security operations is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience leading security operations centers is required.
Experience leading and managing complex cross-functional programs is required.
Experience quickly developing comprehensive plans and delegating implementation actions.
Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, cyber threat intelligence, incident response, detection analytics, and forensics.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, Security+) are a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
