AT&T Lead Client Sol Exec 3 Mob Mission Critical (Government) in Rapid City, South Dakota

This is a sales and customer facing position; office presence is not required.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

As a direct sales position, this role is responsible for building/maintaining relationships with customer, account planning/strategy, and pursuing new sales opportunities. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage SLED accounts in South Dakota.

  • Maintain and retain current Mobility business.

  • Win new Mobility business in no/low share accounts

  • Primarily on customer premise, create existing/new sales for delivery of solutions meeting a wide variety of customer needs for ATT products/services/systems/solutions.

  • With the aid of support resources, identifies sales opportunity solutions. Builds/maintains network of colleagues/customers to share information and obtain prospects.

  • May support resolution of customer disputes and accounts receivable discrepancies (i.e. billing/installation/customer issues).

  • Establishes/maintains productive long-term client relationships.

  • Supports in presenting products, services and migrations that can benefit customer needs.

  • Demonstrates broad and strong working knowledge of the organization’s entire product/service line.

  • Partners with clients to understand business needs, issues, strategies, priorities to deliver valuable solutions.

  • Develops responses to Request for Proposals.

  • Identifies key trends and customer needs, leverages industry knowledge/applications, utilizes consultative skills to close sales for assigned accounts in accordance with company policy, procedures and culture.

  • Owns account relationship, responsible for meeting revenue objectives. Demonstrates sustained record of sales achievement.

  • Effectively influences customers to diffuse potential problems.

  • Aids in devising direct sales plans/strategies.

  • May develop strategic initiatives to grow/retain the revenue stream of complex accounts/projects.

  • May support less experienced sales team through coaching or mentoring. Works on complex projects.

Duties directly related to making sales include:

  • Meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at customer site.

  • Communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales.

  • Traveling to/from the customer premise for sales activities.

  • Providing subject matter expertise on technical sales issues.

  • Advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs.

  • Preparing proposals/presentations/bids, including developing pricing/strategic plans and proposed solutions/sales.

  • Researching/developing solutions with AT&T external partners, including design/engineering.

  • Researching customer business/industry to identify new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Within a given vertical and/or territory, generates sales for delivery of solutions that meet a wide variety of new customer needs for AT&T products / services / systems / solutions.

  • With the assistance of support resources, identifies sales opportunities solutions for customers.

  • Builds, maintains network of colleagues, customers to share information and obtain prospects.

  • Initiates customer contacts/visits with prospective customers within a given vertical and/or territory.

  • Develops new accounts, leads presentations when presenting products and services that can benefit customer's needs.

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of entire product/service line.

  • Partners with prospective clients to understand business needs, issues, strategies, and priorities to deliver value-added business solutions.

  • Develops responses to Request for Proposals.

  • Utilizes consultative selling skills to close highly complex sales within a given vertical and/or territory. Sells in accordance with Company policy, procedures and culture.

  • Identifies keys trends and customer needs.

  • Leverages industry knowledge and applications in order to find and close opportunities.

  • Owns the initial account relationship and is responsible for meeting revenue objectives and other performance metrics.

  • Demonstrates sustained record of sales achievement.

  • Supports the sales team through coaching or mentoring. Assists less experienced peers.

Experience : Requires 8-12 years direct work experience. The candidate must have prior sales experience positioning solutions to public safety organizations and government entities. Preferably with state level customers.

Our Lead Client Sol Exec 3 Mob MC's earn a base salary between $84,600 - $141,100 + commission with a total target compensation of $149,600 - $206,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
