Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Rancho Cucamonga, California

Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This role involves detailed accounting tasks within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for handling accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger, with a strong emphasis on account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Prepare and record journal entries as required

• Conduct account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation on a regular basis

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records

• Utilize various software such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for accounting purposes

• Perform bank reconciliations as needed

• Work towards timely month-end close procedures

• Adhere to all accounting best practices and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

• Assist with other accounting projects as assigned by management. Requirements • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Mastery of the General Ledger system

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software

• Experience with Oracle financial software

• Proficiency in SAP financial software

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
