Howmet Aerospace Maintenance Coordinator in Rancho Cucamonga, California

SUMMARY:

Under general direction, Maintenance Coordinator is responsible to coordinate paperwork and activities of the Maintenance Department and Work Order System.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.

  • Responsible for the Work Order System.

  • Create reports as required to measure performance of the Maintenance System.

  • Maintain and improve the Preventative Maintenance System.

  • Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications.

  • Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations.

  • Research and requisition spare parts.

  • Sorts and files correspondence.

  • Primary focal point for all requisition inquiries.

  • Must have understanding and knowledge of company procedures and work instructions.

  • Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.

  • Must be able to influence and work with other departments/functions to gather required customer information.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.

  • Good analytical and judgment skills to resolve problems.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

  • Ability to learn and perform all essential functions accurately with minimal direct supervision.

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Capable of working independently on tasks and assignments.

  • Must be able to support other areas of the operations based on business needs.

  • Must be able to utilize Microsoft Suite programs and ability to learn internal systems for data entry.

PAY RANGE

$24.00/hr to $30/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
