Description

We are on the lookout for a Systems Engineer to join our team. The position involves the design and implementation of Microsoft solutions, the maintenance of physical server infrastructure, and the execution of backup solutions and disaster recovery.

This is an employee opportunity that will work on-site in our Raleigh office.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and maintaining Microsoft servers, PCs, and solutions with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.

• Designing and managing the physical server infrastructure and platform.

• Ensuring the implementation of Nutanix virtualization.

• Administering identity and privileged access management, Active Directory, GPO, forest/schema, and Sites & Services.

• Conducting backup solutions and carrying out disaster recovery.

• Maintaining an excellent understanding of network architectures, operating systems, email, certificates, and security technologies.

• Leveraging skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, DELL EMC Technologies, Dell Technologies, AB Testing, Active Directory, Automation, AWS Technologies, Backup Technologies, Nutanix, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Windows, Desktop Support, GPO - Group Policy Objects, Azure Active Directory, and Disaster Recovery.

Requirements

Must have:

• Microsoft Server, PC deployment & patch testing

• Virtualization 3+ years

• Server infrastructure & platform design, Active Directory, GPO, forest schema, Sites and Services.

• Disaster recovery and backup solutions

• Understanding of Network architectures, operating systems, email, and security technologies.

Nice to have:

• Nutanix experience

• Certifications including advanced Microsoft and Nutanix

• Automation and orchestration (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

• Azure, AWS

• PowerShell, Python, Power Automate.
