Southway is looking to add an experienced superintendent to the team. -Must have at least 5yrs of experience as a commercial superintendent with both new construction and renovations. -Ideal experience in multifamily construction projects. -Experience managing multiple subcontractors/trades on a given site. -Manage project budget and schedule. -Maintain communication with owners thru daily reports and progress meetings. -Read, interpret and analyze contract documents and drawings. 1. Proactively develop recovery schedules when necessary 2. Manage increasingly more challenging portfolio of projects 3. Manage (proactively) City inspectors and develop relationships as much as possible 4. Demonstrate ability to make informed decisions regarding spending additional money to recoup and/or accelerate schedule 5. Demonstrate ability to create QC (site specific & general) checklists (and execute) 6. Demonstrate expert knowledge of all subcontract Attachment A's (boiler plate and job specific portion) 7. Demonstrate master understanding and recall of major clauses/articles of boiler plate subcontract agreement 8. Demonstrate novice technical competency in different types/scales/complexities of construction
