Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant with a growing construction-based company in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of general ledger experience. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, including general ledger entries and bank reconciliations. You will be part of a dynamic industry, where your skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Microsoft Excel will be utilized and further developed. Responsibilities:

• Handle and monitor fixed assets and leases

• Provide support for payroll functions

• Prepare and record journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

• Maintain and manage the general ledger

• Perform monthly close procedures

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting

• Manage and reconcile bank statements

• Assist with the accounting of fixed assets

• Contribute to lease accounting processes

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with maintaining and updating General Ledger

• Proficient in preparing and posting Journal Entries

• Expertise in Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Fixed Assets accounting

• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory
