Description

We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Sales Support role in the food and food processing industry based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The prime function of this role is to provide excellent customer service and support to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming emails from customers, providing prompt and accurate assistance.

• Deliver knowledgeable advice to customers regarding our products based on their needs.

• Accurately enter incoming orders into our systems.

• Prepare and provide quotes for customers utilizing our internal quoting system.

• Handle general office and administrative tasks as required.

• Act as a liaison between the customer and the company to ensure smooth transactions.

• Keep track of customer inquiries and respond in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of our product offerings to provide accurate information to customers.

• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales.

• Assist in other sales support tasks as necessary

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in Sales Support within the Food & Food Processing industry

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using sales tracking software

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks according to urgency and importance

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP systems- dynamics 365 preferred

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

• Exceptional customer service skills and a customer-focused approach

• Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections effectively

• Willingness to continually learn about new products and industry trends

• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when necessary.
