REGISTERED NURSE PRECEPTOR (RN)

Location: Will cover the state of North Carolina. Transportation and expenses paid

HOME HEALTH SERVICES

JOB PURPOSE:

The RN Preceptor is responsible for activities related to orientation, onboarding, and education of new RN partners. The RN Preceptor is intended to provide the support and guidance needed to integrate new RN partners to PruittHealth @Home and ensure new RN partners become independent and clinically competent members of the PruittHealth @Home team. When not precepting, the RN will spend 100% of their time taking on full patient load.

Responsibilities:

• Education and training for new and current employees

• Travel to Home Health offices throughout the state to train employees

• Knowledge of Oasis, Home Care Home Base

• Complete evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized care plan

• Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner

• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice

• Maintain continuity of patient care in a home care setting

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice

• Ability to travel in North Carolina expenses will be paid

• Must have knowledge of Oasis and Home Care Home Base
