This position serves as a key member of the NC State Student Centers event support team with roles in Witherspoon Student Center, Talley Student Union, and Hunt Library. The event support team consists of the Associate Director, Production Coordinators, Operations Coordinator, Graduate Assistants, and Student Center employees. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a critical link between the closing crew and opening crews ensuring events are supported as required in all three facilities.

Event Support Serve as a critical link between the closing crew and opening crews ensuring events are supported as required in all three facilities. Review event setups for accuracy and when needed provide missing equipment. Create and review task lists for Event Support Team in regards to event setups. In collaboration with event support team conduct training on room and equipment setup. Provide support to event clients. - Set up event spaces with necessary equipment for events, including but not limited to tables, chairs, risers, pipe and drape, etc.

Building Management Conduct daily review of common areas for accurate furniture and equipment arrangement. Provide task lists as needed to the Building Manager and Operations Manager to address common areas. In conjunction with Info Services, assist with the management, placement and removal of signage. Review common areas and back of house corridors for life safety issues related to furniture and equipment storage/placement. Other Attend trainings and meetings as required.

Work Schedule Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11:30pm.
