Southern Industrial Constructors Inc., is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to work our of our Raleigh, NC office. This is a 40+ hour a week position that is in office. This position requires high attention to detail and multiple inbound/outbound calls to plan manpower for industrial sites all of the US.
Manage manpower distribution for the Company. Ensure all day work and long-term projects are staffed properly, utilizing input from submitted requests from PMs, from information relayed by Talent Liaison Manager about Company needs, and utilizing personal experience and knowledge of trade work and employees.
Learn all employee’s crafts and skills set to ensure proper placement on projects.
Maintain accurate schedule. Schedule is adjusted as new projects are received to maximize the use of resources.
Gather client / job information from Project Managers via input form. Process forms and send to proper channels.
Build and maintain relationships with employees and Project Managers.
Communicate job site information to all field employees.
Schedule trucking to support jobs.
Coordinate equipment and tool logistics to support projects.
Conduct business and interactions with a positive attitude that projects the highest level of professionalism.
Receive and handle daily requests from the tool room, warehouse, and mechanic shop.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, database management.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English at all levels of the organization.
Maintain regular attendance and timeliness on a consistent basis.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to juggle multiple demanding tasks.
Well organized.
