Job Title: IoT Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IoT Developer for a 1-2 month contract with the potential for an extension. The primary focus will be on condition monitoring, communication protocols, and security. You will also be responsible for creating an enterprise IoT standard and evaluating best practices for installations. This role involves collaborating with the IT and Controls Engineering departments to formulate a comprehensive IoT plan.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conditions and oversee communication protocols such as wireless, 5G, and LORAN.

• Ensure the security and encryption of messages.

• Create and implement an enterprise IoT standard.

• Evaluate and recommend best practices for IoT installations.

• Develop a strategic IoT plan in collaboration with the IT and Controls Engineering departments.

Essential Skills

• 10 years of experience in IoT / IIoT

• Experience in Controls Engineering

• Experience with communication protocols (wireless, 5G, LORAN)

• Strong expertise in IoT and Microsoft Azure

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with predictive maintenance

• Knowledge of Azure architecture

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The role offers the potential for a long-term extension as it addresses ongoing needs in a growing department.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $120.00
