Incentive Compensation Analyst II role involves usage of large amounts of incentives data. The candidate will independently understand all impacts to active plans, create, and execute appropriate test cases, and UAT testing (including regression) for any incentive data request that are used on both Varicent and Motivator platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Proactively drive the administration and reporting of incentive compensation plans for assigned LOB(s). Consult with LOB Leadership, System specialists and Team Lead to discuss issues and drive results.

  2. Provide guidance and support to lesser experienced Incentive Compensation Administrators (ICAs) supporting assigned LOBs providing accurate and timely responses to data/award adjustments and research requests, meeting all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  3. Conduct complex research on incentive, business and/or system related issues raised by participants, and stakeholders; formulate and present conclusions and solutions in a comprehensive and professional manner.

  4. Perform functional testing of new and revised business requirements that are configured in the automated incentive compensation system. Ensure expected results are achieved and provide feedback to the configuration team if issues are found.

  5. Ensure consistent treatment through administration and approach to exceptions, guarantees, offer letters, contracts, brokerage/trading agreements and other ancillary payment arrangements. Manage the submission into the Business Incentive Plan (BIP) review and approval process for assigned LOB(s).

  6. Partner with systems configuration teams and LOB to understand all aspects of systems design and maintenance for end to end development and execution of automated solutions. Serve as a liaison with any key stakeholders integral to the administration of incentive plans for assigned LOB(s).

  7. Identify manual processes and participate in or deliver automated solutions and/or eliminate non-value or low value activities.

  8. Manage audits and governance related reviews and requests including but not limited to: gathering necessary documentation and responding to governing bodies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience

  2. 5 years of financial services experience, including exposure to technology applications

  3. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

  5. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall goals and successes of the team

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working in Agile/SCRUM team(s).

  2. Working knowledge of Test Plans, Test Scripts, Test scenarios, Test Cases, (UAT and Regression) and Data test plan creation based on requirements and success criteria.

Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
