Robert Half HR Generalist in Raleigh, North Carolina

Description

We are seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to manage various human resources functions such as benefits administration, full cycle recruiting, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Leave of Absence (LOA), employee relations, payroll administration, and other HR related functions. The successful candidate should be proficient in using human resources management software such as Workday and ADP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of all company benefits programs and educate employees about their benefits.

  • Oversee all aspects of recruiting, including screening applications, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process.

  • Handle niche compliance issues such as FMLA and LOA.

  • Facilitate and manage employee relations, fostering a positive work environment that supports employee engagement, and promptly resolving any potential conflicts.

  • Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

  • Conduct orientation and training programs for employees.

  • Develop, revise, and implement HR policies and procedures.

  • Keep abreast of the latest HR trends and changes in labor legislation.

  • Manage and maintain employee data using HR management systems like Workday and ADP.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.

  • Proficiency in using HR software - Workday and ADP.

  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR federal/state regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and conflict management skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material professionally.

The ideal candidate should have a broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding and from employee compensation to evaluation. Work Location & Schedule:

This is a contract to hire position, requires working 40 hours per week.
