Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. Environmental Scientist in Raleigh, North Carolina
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking an Environmental Scientist with up to 3 years of experience to join our Raleigh (Knightdale), North Carolina. We're growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming environmental professional to grow with us! This is a role for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in our Environmental Department, which serves a diverse client base, providing due diligence, regulatory consulting, site remediation, and similar services.
Responsibilities of this role include:
Prepare technical reports and deliverables (including appropriate figures, analysis summary tables, and exploration logs)
Review laboratory reports and tabulate analytical data
Collect samples for soil, groundwater, and soil gas vapor analysis
Perform Phase I ESAs
Ability to grow into such areas as Phase II ESAs, regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion, site remediation, asbestos/lead-based paint surveys, and project management.
0-3 years of Phase I and Phase II experience preferred, but not required.
Requirements:
BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with good attention to detail
