The Command Center Technology Lead role is responsible for supporting and providing oversight for infrastructure and application incident response and remediation efforts. This includes but not limited to monitoring, reacting to technology alerts, establishing bridge support, change call monitoring, and maintaining production status reports. This role is the primary intermediaries between internal as well as managed services support teams, facilities all incident management calls and main contributor to Major Incident Management duties. This role will also require development and maintenance of support documentation, performing quality assurance (QA) of incidents and overall supporting improvements in process and workflows.
WORK SCHEDULE - 3rd shift; in office 4 days a week
• Friday, 7pm – 7:15am (11.25 hours, 1 hour lunch)
• Saturday, 7pm – 7:15am (11.25 hours, 1 hour lunch)
• Sunday, 7pm – 7:15am (11.25 hours, 1 hour lunch)
• Monday, 7pm – 1:15am (6.25 hours)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Take direction from senior engineer technical leaders to perform installation and configuration of installed networking systems.
Work with other IT teams to support the changes to configure and enable the necessary solutions including security, logging, monitoring.
Attend and participate in network design sessions with networking guild peers to create architectural, design and test plans.
Ability to lead subcomponent design teams and work independently towards design implementation.
Provide architectural design patterns for peer review and education.
Lead engineering team design of integration and production tests to ensure high quality implementations.
Demonstrated ability to create project plans, test plans and engineering implementation plans.
Communicate project status, dependencies and requirements to management.
Stay current on changes in the networking technology space including L1 transports, software defined networking, configuration and deployment technologies including virtual machines and containers.
Provide debug and problem resolution support as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training
Five to ten years of experience
BSCS, BSEE, BSCE
Analytical skills, problem solving, ability to communicate complex ideas and present to peers
Familiarity with concepts and management interfaces of a software defined network technology such as ACI, NSX or cloud networking
Demonstrated understanding of technologies and management interfaces of a software defined network technology such as ACI, NSX or cloud networking
Demonstrated understanding of internet naming technologies such as DNS, DHCP, ipv6, ipv4.
Demonstrated understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF
Familiarity with networking concepts such as routing, security, OSI model and protocols definitions.
Proven track record of technical designs and implementation.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Working knowledge of ServiceNow
Working knowledge of xMatters
Working knowledge of Splunk, Dynatrace, and Thousand Eyes
Working knowledge of collaboration tools Microsoft teams, Webex
Knowledge of ITIL framework
Working knowledge of Microsoft office productivity suite
Ability to self-manage time
Technology background in network, distributed systems & application support
Financial industry familiarity
