2024 Marketing Poultry Team Co-Op

The Future Talent Program features cooperative assignments that last up to 6 months and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Animal Health Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

We are looking for a driven, business-savvy individual with a proven track record of leadership, to assist in the management of key Poultry brand marketing projects. The individual will report to the Marketing Director but also assist in the management of key projects for Poultry team members, including our technical services veterinarians, and our Executive Director.

The projects help drive growth for our innovative products across the world, by strengthening our understanding of, and communications to, several stakeholders – the internal marketing and sales teams, customers, and broader poultry industry.

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Driving consistent and effective communication with key internal stakeholders via multiple channels: a monthly poultry newsletter, social media (MS Teams), monthly brand report(s), etc.

  • Actively participate in external communications efforts in a cross-functional team, including PR, social media, and event presence.

  • Drive approval process for marketing and technical documents in VEEVA. This includes a detailed proof-reading of the original draft and subsequent agency layout, a thorough review of final marketing materials, designating approving team members, tracking progress and ensuring timely review/approval /certification

  • Liaise with creative agencies to enable optimization of marketing materials according to our team feedback, ensure all is applied in every detail

  • Assist in key marketing meeting & event planning: scheduling, agenda creation and dissemination, attendee communications, etc.

  • Assist in correcting English in posters and presentations for major meetings, as these are often submitted by technical people whose first language is not English.

  • Prepare analysis of sales trends for routine communication with internal stakeholders

Position Qualifications :

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Candidates must have BA or BSc, Business, Marketing, Animal Biology/Animal Science, Communications or English major, or enrolled in a current Bachelor's or Master's program

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates must be able to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions and make rapid, disciplined decisions within scope of authority

  • Candidates must be able to deal with problems involving several variables

  • Candidates must be able to follow policies and procedures

  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Candidates should be able to write clear and concise e-mails to domestic and international audiences

  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate leadership ability, proactive nature, and solid work ethic

  • Candidates should have strong command of English language; additional languages will be considered an asset

  • Candidates should have previous experience in a multinational, corporate business setting

  • Candidate should have previous experience working with, or demonstrated passion for animals

  • Candidates should have previous experience in consumer or professional marketing, PR or advertising

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:

$39,600.00-$105,500.00
