Position Description The Payroll Coordinator will support the payroll function with daily processing as well as with audits, timekeeping support, reports and other operational improvements. Key Responsibilities Assists in the processing of payroll on a weekly/bi-weekly basis to include coordination of data, review of new hires, terminations, leave of absences and review other change of statuses. Review hourly, non-exempt and part-time time cards; enter part-time regular hours, unpaid hours. Enter employee requested changes for taxes, banking, postage, annual special event deductions and any other optional deductions. Proficiently answers Kronos timekeeping system questions, assist plant payroll staff with timecard questions. Ongoing work with plant payroll and HR support to review current work instructions and process improvements as related to the payroll function. Ensure discreet handling of all business with employees and managers, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Retain support for employee bank account changes Support contact for internal and external audit requests Support salary PTO accrual reporting Assist and support with other payroll related tasks as needed Required Education & Qualifications Associates, Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years\' experience in Payroll in a processing or support role, Benefits experience a plus. Experience with SAP or other payroll system, the ability to create queries, standard and ad hoc reports a plus. Experience with Kronos Workforce Central/Dimensions a plus.
