Job Description

Diesel mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance of trucks including hydraulic lines, air brake systems, engines, rotors, and all mechanical and electrical systems. Lower-level candidates have the opportunity to attend school to receive certifications, allowing them to advance from Level I to Level III.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair hydraulic lines on trucks

  • Service and maintain air brake systems

  • Perform engine diagnostics and repairs

  • Repair and maintain rotors

  • Handle all mechanical and electrical systems on trucks

Essential Skills

  • Diesel mechanic experience

  • Supervision and leadership experience

  • Body shop skills

  • Management skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Diesel technician experience is a plus

  • Painting skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Direct Hire

Locally owned (8 locations across 2 states)

Annual raise:

2nd shift premium: $1

Every year you go up $1 until you get to $4

Can get monthly bonus based on efficiency

Benefits/Insurance

Work boot, glasses and tool allowance

Some Techs are currently making 100k Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Racine,WI.
