This role in summary

Plan, organize and schedule department work activities including preventative maintenance, planned shutdown

activities, projects, and contract work. Use computerized maintenance management software data to aid in

development of formal job plans for preventative maintenance tasks and scheduled equipment repairs.

Your responsibilities will include

Administer PM program for all equipment which includes:

  • Plan, prioritize, and schedule all preventative maintenance activities including corrective, preventative, predictive, project, and backlog work.

  • Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to collect data and review to support the evaluation of asset replacement, rebuild timelines, and support problem-solving activities.

  • Update CMMS and all related equipment files, for new equipment or equipment changes, job plans, operating

or maintenance manuals, spare part lists and maintenance history.

Schedule all planned maintenance work which includes:

  • Conduct meetings with cross functional stakeholders to coordinate scheduling of maintenance activities and

to plan resource commitments.

  • Maintain comprehensive planning checklist including asset detail, work methods, instructions and work permits

as required.

  • Review/Close completed work orders ensuring schedule adherence and generate follow-up work as required.

  • Evaluate and coordinate procurement requests as required.

  • Maintain current vendor list as required.

Miscellaneous:

  • Align with engineering to coordinate and schedule work activities, support PM development and asset database

updates.

  • Recommend inventory levels of maintenance parts, supplies and materials as required.

  • Verify parts, materials and other supplies are available for scheduled work.

Minimum requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working in an Industrial manufacturing environment with a preferred emphasis on automated systems.

  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace.

  • Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management software (CMMS).

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Demonstrated leadership skills are a plus.

  • Strong technical written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to interpret OEM (original equipment manufacturer) manuals including, electrical and pneumatic blueprints and machine drawings.
