About the role

  • The Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Planner is in charge of the execution of the S&OP process in the APAC (Asia Pacific) region for Business Unit Peroxide. Your main objective is to balance the supply and demand in order to assure supply continuity, whilst ensuring optimized sourcing, distribution and inventories.

  • The S&OP Planner will be part of the Global S&OP team and will report into the Global S&OP Manager. The team consists of 4 persons and has been established earlier in 2024.

  • You will be accountable for:

  • Demand Review: ensure that sales forecasts are captured from the Sales Team and are challenged. Organize and animate a monthly Demand Review meeting in order to achieve demand consensus. Review forecast accuracy and identify root causes of deviation, review large shifts in demand, identify demand related issues and risks.

  • S&OP: establish a 12 months rolling planning for all APAC sites over all LoB’s

  • Ensure effective sourcing and distribution plan, optimize production asset utilization and total cost to serve.

  • Manage finished goods inventory in order to keep under control the overall working capital.

  • Define & run sourcing scenarios for volume allocation and supply organization. Optimizes total cost to serve and contribution margin.

  • Propose solutions to anticipate and solve relevant planning issues affecting business activities.

  • Ensure arbitration between countries, sales or customers when problems could not be solved at local level.

  • Cascade decisions and Supply planning to all stakeholders (sales, industrial, finance, supply chain & third parties like hauliers).

  • Monitor the operational execution of the planning (S&OE) and take operational decisions when adjustments are required.

  • In charge of continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

  • Consistent sharing of knowledge and expertise’s amongst team members

  • Acquire insight into the supply chain strategies, policies, processes, systems and tools as defined/introduced by the Global Supply Chain Management Team..

  • We offer a permanent (Belgium/Thailand)/ fixed-term (3 years for China) contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

  • University/Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain domain and successful experience in a production or Supply Chain planning position.

  • Competencies:

  • IT knowledge (Google Workspace), SAP knowledge, familiarity with an APS tool is a strong asset

  • Analytical and Strategic thinking

  • Fluent in English

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Thailand base pay reasonably expected for this role is 902,400 to 1,521,700 THB, you could check the salary range for other countries(China, Belgium)when you apply, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
