CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE - HEALTHCARE

FULL TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY WITH ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT

FIRST SHIFT AND SECOND SHIFT AVAILALBLE - MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS

BOSTON MA - $21/HR-$23/HR

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of healthcare administration experience or recent call center experience

  • Microsoft Office proficient

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Detail oriented

A Day In The Role:

Customer Service Reps are taking 200 calls a day from incoming patients of DRs for their clinics which are Hospitals and Smaller Health Clinics. Their job is to determine who's on call at a client, pull up contact info in database and triage the call to the appropriate contact. KPI's: 85% of calls within 30 seconds.

Job Duties:

  • The Patient Service Rep answers call 24x7 for the main published phone numbers for our hospitals and over 300 medical practices in the area

  • Processing calls for the Main Listed Number, Paging, Dispatch, and Answering Service

  • Responding to requests to page staff members and retrieving executed pages

  • Changing the current paging status as requested by the holder of the pager

  • Responding to requests from staff regarding department on-call schedules Database and directory updates

  • Maintaining the ability to multi-task and toggle between multiple screens seamlessly

  • Processing various Codes / Emergency calls in an accurate manner

  • Responding to all telephone inquiries for patient information, which may include handling confidential information

Example Shifts:

  • First shift: between 7am-6pm); requires working every Sunday, they will have Saturday and another day off during the week ( may not be consecutive)

  • 2nd Shift: 2pm-11pm requires working every Saturday, they will have Sunday and another day off during the week ( may not be consecutive)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
