The Client

Work with one of the world’s largest IT companies operating in over 170 countries and a top provider of innovative technology solutions. Established in 1911, the Company specializes in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and hardware, while also offering consulting and IT services.

Job Summary

Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of building systems, and equipment. Working under close supervision, assists in monitoring building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.

  2. Performing day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.

  3. Completing maintenance and repair records as required.

  4. Reviewing assigned work orders and estimating time and materials needed to complete repair.

  5. Ordering necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.

  6. Assisting with installation and modification of building equipment systems.

  7. Assisting with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including plumbing systems, electrical system, air conditioning system, and date centers.

  8. Inspecting new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

  9. Maintaining lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures, and replacing bulbs and lamps.

  10. Responding quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

Requirements

  1. 2-3 years of relevant experience in minor repairs and troubleshooting.

  2. Experience in handling electrical, mechanical, plumbing, aircon, refrigeration, and carpentry works.

  3. Experience in a BPO or corporate office setting.

  4. Skilled in equipment monitoring and minor repairs, specifically for generators, chillers, and aircon, UPS, FDAS, water leak detection system, and PA system.

  5. Willingness to work on a 6-day work week and in shifts: morning, mid, and evening.

  6. Basic computer knowledge, proficient in the use Microsoft office application.
