We are looking for a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer in MX!

CORE RESPONSABILITIES:

-Responsible for monitoring & improving supplier Quality performance.

-Responsible for Supplier manufacturing process improvement with emphasis on quality and on time delivery to original agreed to purchase order receipt dates PPAP Knowledge & Documentation

-Responsible for inspection and Authorized for accepting and rejecting of the products.

-Establish green channel supplier base, Supplier Quality Audits, on-time closure of NCR with effective Corrective & preventive action specialized in Diversified commodity.

-New Part development (NPD) with supplier and ensure parts to be Qualified first time right.

-Can able to handle Inspection & Quality Assurance of Diversified commodity independently

-Final inspection and testing of finished products

-On-site Inspection at supplier & Receiving inspection

-Process inspection

-Uses measuring instruments

-Ensure product meets requirements

-Analyses customer complaints and implement Corrective and Preventive actions.

–Data capturing, consolidation, analysis and Plan for improvements on a regular basis.

-Ensures defect free products to customer. Process capability studies. Problem analysis and establish root cause, Plan and Implement CAPA.

-Improves and maintain QMS within the plant & Xylem Supplier base. Implement Supplier Quality system, & impart training down the line as and when required To Provide technical assistance and advice to Project Team on inspection levels, materials testing Certification and Handover Documentation Lead and co-ordinate the development and application of Criticality Assessment criteria and Project Quality Programs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or DME with additional 2 years’ experience than desired.

-Desired Work Experience: At least 4-6 yrs. of working experience in quality department.

  • ISO Audit Certification, Six Sigma certifications are added advantage for this position.

  • Knowledge on ISO 9000,Six Sigma and other quality system

-Proficiency in English level in both written and verbal communication.

-50% of Travel within Mexico.
