Mobile Health Clinical Documentation Manager in Queens, New York

Location
This position is 100% remote; remote but limited travel will be required for meetings, and onsite events. Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Salary
Range 50,000-65,000
Overview
Mobile Health is seeking a Clinical Documentation Manager to oversee and ensure the accurate, efficient, and compliant coding of procedures and services related to occupational health. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of clinical documentation, aligning with industry standards, and supporting organizational goals. Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Documentation Manager will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflows, enhance documentation practices, and ensure regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical documentation and coding, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead initiatives that drive accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This is a vital role within a growing company dedicated to improving occupational health and safety for businesses and their employees.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage clinical documentation team
Manage end to end process of chart review
Monitor Evaluation Queue for exams awaiting review.
Review exams in Evaluation Queue for completeness.
Review document details for scanned medical documentation to assist with closing the exam.
Coordinate with clinical team on incompleteness/inaccuracies with medical documentation.
Edit results as per documentation.
Monitor emails from MRO and make needed changes to the drug screen results as needed.
Contact MRO for pending drug screen determinations as needed.
Select appropriate canned remarks for disposition section of the Final Medical Report.
Send Yellow and Red Code alerts to Agencies.
Contact Customer Service or LabCorp for missing lab results.
Retrieve Lab Reports from Link as needed.
Process Amended Medical Report exams as needed.
Acts as liaison with Customer Service or Account Managers on Agency questions/concerns as needed.
Close exams at the request of Customer Service or Account Managers as needed.
Assist with review of Respirator Fit Testing Medical Evaluation questionnaires as needed.
Monitor Chest X-Ray results from Radiologist and document in patients’ charts
Contact patients with abnormal or critical results as needed.
Experience & Education
· Licensed RN or Higher
· 5+ years in Occupational Health or Employee Health setting.
· Must have MROA Certification or complete within 90 days of hire.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
