SUNY Queens Educational Opportunity Center Adjunct Lecturer in Queens, New York
The SUNY Queens Educational Opportunity Center, administered by York College, is seeking to hire Adjunct Lecturers to teach English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses with a focus on reading, conversational English, and grammar in the spring 2025 semester. Preference will be given to applicants who have strong credentials and experience teaching English to adult learners from those with limited formal schooling to those with extensive educational backgrounds. Please note that most opportunities will be for in-person teaching but background in teaching in online modalities may be expected.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of a Bachelor degree in TESOL, Language and Literacy, English, or a related field is required, as is the ability to teach successfully in various instructional modalities.
COMPENSATION Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 (hourly)
