Rite of Passage CLINICAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR-Rite Path (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in Queen Creek, Arizona

Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Designs and oversees an array of effective and evidence-based clinical programs and services designed tomeet the individual and unique needs of the students served in the program. The Program Director shallensure all services are culturally responsive and relevant.
    1. Takes responsibility for all aspects of programming, commits to excellence and keeping commitments.
    1. Oversees the financial performance of the outpatient sites, ensuring staff are completing timelydocumentation and meeting their productivity standards for care.
    1. Ensures all outpatient sites are operating n accordance with regulatory rules and ethical practices.
    1. Works closely with specialty and direct care staff regarding the mental health needs of students, assisting indevelopment of programs that are timely and best practices.
    1. Monitors, evaluates and corrects the daily performance of all program staff. Provides on-going clinicalsupervision to the therapeutic personnel as needed and in conjunction with the clinical supervisor.
    1. Oversees and evaluates individual, group, family and case management services provided by thetherapeutic personnel.
    1. Reviews and analyzes current program elements, provides suggestions and direction to the SiteManagement Committee to ensure the highest standards are maintained to prevent illegal, unethical, orimproper conduct and to ensure the program remains in compliance with agency licensing and Rite ofPassage policies and procedures.
    1. Oversees auditing processes to ensures the Golden Thread is followed and meets best practices andregulatory standards at all times.
    1. Assists in reviewing and responding to student grievances and allegations of abuse and neglect (all sites).
    1. Responsible for hiring, evaluations, commendations, reprimands and dismissals regarding supervised staff.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Human Services.
    1. Current State licensure - LCSW, LMFT or LPC.
    1. Specific to Betty Marler Youth Services Center: Prior experience with female substance abuse issues orAddictions Counselor certification required. FOR HAWAII: Must be a Qualified Mental HealthProfessional (QMHP) as defined by the Hawaii Department of Health, Child & Adolescent Mental HealthDivision
    1. Five years of clinical and administrative experience in an outpatient and/or residential setting.
    1. Manages time effectively and is approachable and a positive example for all staff.
    1. Well organized and has ability to plan and anticipate needs of students and the program operations.
    1. Critical thinking skills and effective communication with external and internal stakeholders.
    1. The ability to effectively manage community relationships, build partnerships and strong workingrelationships with outside entities.
    1. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple people and projects and has the ability to effectively manageconflict.
    1. Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required.
    1. If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements tobe an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable drivingrecord for the past three (3) years.
