Things You’ll Do
Oversee shop employees, equipment, plant maintenance, and condition of facility
Responsible for recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action
Assist with equipment procurement
Monitor employee training and certification
Provide support and oversight in the achievement of team performance goals
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements
Requirements
Demonstrated experience managing people and processes in a shop e n vironment
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
College or trade school degree preferred
Mechanic experience preferred
Knowledge of equipment, vehicle, and plant maintenance
Ability to review and analyze financial information, and coordinate with operations leadership on controlling costs
Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills
Strong vendor relations
