Department of the Navy/Assistant for Administration SUPERVISORY HR SPECIALIST (COMPENSATION) in Quantico, Virginia
Summary You will serve as a Supervisory HR Specialist (Compensation) for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. Responsibilities You will work with human resources information systems to answer data questions from senior leadership, analyze quantitative and qualitative metrics, produce story telling products that explain your position. You will supervise the compensation branch of the Human Resources Directorate of NCIS. You will work and resolve complex issues as they arise. You will assign tickets in the Service Now system and manage work of subordinate employees. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Processing recruitment and staffing actions, working independently to solve complex HR issues, experience in multifaceted human resources disciplines, experience with employee relations or human resources information systems, or employee compensation. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
