U.S. Marine Corps INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST in Quantico, Virginia

Summary You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist at the GG-12 grade level within Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA), Intelligence Directorate (S2), in the Asia Pacific Regional Division. You will be responsible for participating in the collection, analysis, evaluation, interpretation, dissemination, and/or other intelligence-related assignments specific to foreign countries. This position is located in Quantico, VA. Responsibilities You will perform intelligence analysis and production tasks relative to the political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, technical, or military issues in specific foreign countries. You will maintain liaison with other intelligence agencies and operational forces to share obtain and provide information needed to maintain the coordination of services as required in the conduct of daily duties. You will represent Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) at Service level, national and international working groups and meetings in support of United States Marine Corps (USMC) missions. You will serve as the area expert at Department of Defense (DoD) and Service level Wargames and will prepare and presents briefings on assigned area for senior level Department of Defense (DoD) and United States Marine Corps (USMC) officials. You will plan and carry out all assignments necessary to process all-source material and produce pertinent intelligence in assigned area to meet U.S. government needs. You will develop analytical tools and methodologies and analyze data bases to draw specific conclusions. You will collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments in assigned area, and prepare new or revises previous analyses, assessments or other products. You will maintain liaison with personnel in assigned and related fields, such as those in other intelligence agencies and allied foreign governments, to discuss mutual intelligence problems and production efforts. You will represent the organizational segment to which assigned on panels and committees where knowledge and experience are necessary to contribute towards intelligence efforts and developments. You will make recommendations for changes and modifications to improve intelligence gathering methodologies and techniques. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Performing intelligence analysis and production tasks relative to the political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, technical, or military issues in specific foreign countries. Processing all-source material and producing pertinent intelligence in assigned area to meet organizational needs. Collecting, analyzing, interpreting, evaluating and integrating intelligence data which includes briefings, automated/manual data bases, studies, estimates and evaluations relative to the capabilities of foreign countries to undertake varying types of military operations.
