Maximum Care Inc Direct Care Worker in Quakertown, Pennsylvania
Maximum Care, Inc., is looking for a caregiver to join our team. The caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who are no longer able to care for themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.
The ideal candidate should be able to care for our clients and their properties with dignity, patience, compassion and respect. This person will always encourage and remain empathetic with customers.
Caregivers needed area: Bensalem, Bristol, Doylestown, Fairless Hills, Jamison, Langhorne, Levittown, Morrisville, Newtown, Southampton, Warminster and Warrington
- Monday through Friday 7am-9am and 5p-7pm
Responsibilities:
- In-home assistance: Provide light cleaning service, run errands, or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments and help with medications. Prepare meals, buy food, and provide personal assistance with general life needs. Personal services might include toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming. Provide any financial help if needed, such as helping the customer pay their bills.
- Companionship: Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and helping an individual.
Requirements:
- High school diploma is preferred
- You must be able to complete a criminal history report
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand (sometimes) for a long period of time
