Job Title: Control Panel Technician

Job Description

Wire, test, and assemble various machine elements within custom automated assembly systems including electrical component wiring (24VDC through 480VAC), mounting brackets, safety guarding, machine frames, pneumatic/motor-driven actuators. Assemble electrical sub-assemblies, junction boxes, control enclosures, safety guarding, and perform basic debugging of equipment. Pre-wire panel assembly (wire-way, terminal blocks, relays, power supplies, etc.) on the bench and install into the equipment frame for final wiring of sub-assemblies. Travel on occasion to job sites for set-up, operations, and removal of equipment.

This is a fully on-site position in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Small company environment where all employees know what is going on in the company and its current state. Very team-oriented and customer-focused culture. The team size consists of 15 employees, with 4-5 in Engineering. Dress code is business casual. The President is easy to get along with but expects efficiency and timely completion of tasks. The facility is very clean and climate-controlled. Travel will be sporadic, with the majority of work being in-house (75%) and occasional travel (25%). Most travel will be day trips, with air travel a couple of times a year. A company vehicle is available for travel, and reimbursement is provided if the vehicle is not available.
