Otis is growing and looking for a Service Mechanic based in Gold Coast, Queensland. Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

On a typical day, You will:

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory

• Work within your defined geographical area/territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it

• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first-time fix

• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation

• Liaise directly with the customer while on-site to build a good working relationship

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• Hold a Queensland Electrical Licence and experience working at heights is required.

• Minimum two (2) to five (5) years of work experience within the Lift Industry.

• Willing to travel and hold a valid driver's license

• Extensive Electrical and Mechanical knowledge across large equipment and the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.

• Have an uncompromising attitude, awareness, and adherence toward working safely in all situations.

• Enjoy communicating with various levels of stakeholders and working closely with others in the Field team.

• Is solutions-oriented, independent, and well-organized.

• Can perform knowledge transfer and conduct training.

• Able to plan and prioritize tasks and complete them on time
