Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team for the 3rd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise around the warehouse. You will also load and unload trailers, perform inventory control, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to move materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Identify and report any discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks.
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily.
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines regarding health and safety.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to [specify weight] and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
