We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director & CFO to lead the financial oversight for our Chronic Care business. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the P&L, driving financial forecasting, and long-range business planning. You will partner closely with General Managers and senior leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations to steer the business toward growth and improved profitability.
This role is open to working 100% remote within the United States. EST is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- P&L Management, Reporting & Forecasting:
Lead the monthly reporting and forecasting of product financials, including full P&L, revenue, and operating metrics for the Chronic Care division. Partner with the GM of Chronic Care to develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP), ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. - Strategic Business Partnering & Pricing:
Collaborate with the GM on pricing strategies, performance guarantees, and go-to-market development. Serve as a thought partner in the development of growth strategies and ensure the Deal Desk is equipped with the most up-to-date financial inputs for pricing calculators and deal structuring. - Investment Strategy & Project Leadership:
Participate in key strategic projects, including the development of business cases for the Strategic Investment Council (SIC). Support the allocation of capital investments into Chronic Care initiatives by delivering clear analyses on ROI, revenue growth potential, and customer enrollment targets. - Data-Driven Insights & Financial Analysis:
Develop and maintain key financial insights, such as profit segmentation by SKU/customer and unit economics. Conduct ad hoc analyses as requested by the GM to guide decision-making. Use complex data to provide context behind the numbers, enabling leaders to make informed, actionable decisions. - Cross-Functional Liaison:
Act as the primary liaison to the Finance department, ensuring alignment on all financial matters related to Chronic Care. This includes providing regular updates on financial performance and strategic initiatives to ensure accurate and timely communication across departments. - Collaboration & Accountability:
Work closely with the GM of Chronic Care. Provide financial guidance, hold leaders accountable for financial outcomes, and ensure business goals are achieved. Offer strategic recommendations to support growth while addressing potential risks and challenges. - High Emotional Intelligence (EQ):
Demonstrate patience and adaptability in a nuanced and data-intensive business. Engage in active listening and collaboration, ensuring productive partnerships across the organization while holding business leaders accountable when necessary.

Qualifications Expected for Position
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with significant exposure to P&L management, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate information across multiple parts of a business and build effective business relationships within an organization
- Fluent understanding of P&L dynamics and unit economics
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, or business administration; MBA highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within healthcare, chronic care, or similar industries preferred
- Experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Management Consulting
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and operational teams to drive business outcomes
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- High emotional intelligence, with a proven ability to build partnerships and hold leaders accountable in a collaborative manner
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

The base salary range for this position is$190,000 - $230,000.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed hereTeladoc Health Benefits 2024.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
