Eaton Corporation Team Lead SCM Risk & Compliance in Pune, India
What you’ll do:
Act as Risk Project Manager: Managing Warroom to mitigate critical risk events impacting global SCM operations
Risk Identification: Identify potential risks in the supply chain, including logistical & labor disruptions, macroeconomic, geopolitical issues, and natural disasters & Conduct regular risk assessments, partnering with suppliers and internal teams to evaluate the impact and likelihood of these risks on Supply Chain operations
Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks. This could include diversifying suppliers, increasing inventory buffers, or developing contingency plans.
Risk mitigation: Develop and implement crisis management plans to respond to supply chain disruptions. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during a crisis to minimize impact through
a. Manage Warroom operations & relevant information
b.Effective coordination with sourcing, category management & plant operations to develop robust mitigation strategies (Contingency & recovery plans)
c.Ensuring timely execution of mitigation strategies
d. Preparing risk event summary and communication to leadership team on regular basis
Tooling Risk Management: Ensure continuity of supply to Eaton plants through effectively managing Eaton owned tools at supplier sites.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and potential risks. Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key risks and the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills
Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve processes. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance supply chain resilience.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders about supply chain risks and mitigation plans. Ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.
7.Technology Utilization: Leverage technology and tools to monitor and manage supply chain risks. Stay informed about new technologies that can enhance risk management capabilities
Technical Competencies & Service Delivery Requirements -
10 to 12 years of working experience in global supply chain environment, preferably in manufacturing industries will be required along with understanding of Enterprise risk management, materials shortage management to a greater depth
Effective project management skills, PMP certification will be preferred
Strong people leadership Skills
Strong Working Knowledge ERP Systems & business intelligence tools
Be able to break down of data sets into meaningful interpretations, work on predictive analysis to enable proactive governance
Excellent communication skills to work with teams remotely, close coordination with cross-functional operations team to ensure closure
Flexible attitude to work with the willingness to learn new skills when required
Alignment with the Corporate Risk & Compliance / SCM Leaders, align with the strategy and deploy those strategies.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in business administration or bachelors degree from an accredited institution, preferably MBA Operations Research
