What Does a Great Cash Forecasting Professional Do at Fiserv?

As a Cash Forecasting Professional, your primary responsibility is to manage cash flow predictions and ensure optimal liquidity for ATMs. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders, including US Bank, Armored Carriers, and Program Management teams, to maintain efficient cash operations and meet client requirements.

2. What You Will Do:

• New Business:

• Review historical dispense data to determine appropriate cash frequency.

• Allocate funding for Compensating Balance in collaboration with US Bank.

• Set up new ATMs in the ICM system.

• Coordinate frequency and load dates with Armored Carriers.

• Daily Tasks:

• Analyze ICM forecasts daily to determine cash orders for scheduled ATMs.

• Evaluate ATM forecasts for automated forecasting eligibility.

• Submit daily order files to US Bank for next-day orders.

• Monitor low and out-of-cash ATMs, including weekends.

• Order emergency cash as needed.

• Report results to Program Management & Vendor Support Team.

• Monthly Responsibilities:

• Generate Monthly Performance Files for the Managed Service Fleet overall and by Client.

• Provide monthly reporting on armored carrier errors and attend performance calls.

• Participate in monthly cash performance calls with clients.

• Collaborate with US Bank to determine proper Compensating Balance Account balances.

• Evaluate forecast adjustments based on repetitive Compensating Balance Account shortages.

• Assist with billing by reconciling frequency data with armored carrier invoices.

• Periodic Duties:

• Conduct fleet reviews to optimize frequency and cost, considering interest rates and carrier expenses.

• Collaborate with Program Managers to review client-specific ATMs and provide recommendations.

• Develop cash plans for special events (e.g., stimulus, tax season).

• Periodically assess automated loads to ensure ATMs meet requirements.

• Assist in creating custom reports for fleet management.

• Support Hours:

• Provide weekday support during US hours.

• Participate in rotating weekend support, reviewing fleet status and ordering emergency cash before 11:00 am local time.

3. What You Will Need to Have:

• Strong analytical skills to interpret historical data and forecast cash needs accurately.

• Effective communication abilities for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Attention to detail in managing cash orders, schedules, and performance reporting.

4. What Would Be Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with financial systems, banking processes, and ATM operations.

• Experience in optimizing cash management strategies.
