The team you will be a part of

The Software Engineering team designs, develops or coordinates development/troubleshooting or debugging of moderately complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Performs high-level design/modeling to convert stakeholder needs into software solutions. Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Develops the architectural guidelines, specifications, and technical standards and communicates to stakeholders.

This role in summary

Qualification: B.E, in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science or related technical discipline is a must

Experience: 6 to 9 Years

Skills:

Embedded Testing, Mobile Testing, System Integration Testing, Automation Testing (nice to have) , Security Testing (nice to have), API Testing, HP Quality Center / Jira / Bugzilla, Agile process knowledge, Soap UI, IBM Rational tools

  • Strong analytic skills and logical reasoning/problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • ISTQB (Foundation) or CSTE certification

Work Experience :

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in testing. Preferably in System Integration Testing

  • Experience in Embedded or Mobile Testing - Preferably both

  • Hands on experience on HPQC or any Defect Management tool - For e.g. JIRA / Bugzilla

  • Experience in agile testing

Your responsibilities will include

  • U nderstand business requirements.

  • Set up the required test beds and create test data required for testing.

  • Review test cases with Test Lead.

  • Should be able to lead a small team of Test Engineers

  • Should be able to assist the Test Lead in estimations and resource planning

  • Analyze, design and write test cases based on system requirements and design specification.

  • Attend meetings and coordination with onsite project team and development team.

  • Developing and executing Manual test cases to ensure end to end quality of product.

  • Defect Reporting, Co-ordination with Development team, Defect logging, Defect tracking.

  • Defect triaging and classify to the module.

  • Help developers in root cause analysis and resolving issues.

  • Follow set testing process and ensure compliance.

  • Provide execution and summary reports according to project requirements.
