Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev in PUNE, India

Job Description

The candidate should possess extensive experience in Retail Banking domain as a Product Manager or Business Analyst with a technology provider or a global bank's IT/ Operations team with a minimum of 8 years of experience. The candidate should have detailed understanding of different retail banking products such as Current Accounts, Saving Accounts, Term Deposits, Credit Cards, home loans, auto loans, personal loans, education loans, overdrafts and term loans to individuals and small medium business segment with extensive knowledge on origination of these products.

Primary skills -

  • Expertise towards Requirement Gathering, Impact analysis, Functional design required.

  • Product Scope and Roadmap Preparation, Product Backlog Management and Prioritization

  • Release Planning and Content Scoping, Release Backlog Management

  • Product Backlog refining, detailing i.e. Epics and story detailing

  • Functional Approach and Solution Designing, Test Scenario preparation and review

  • Product Development (Reviewing, providing feedback, advocating for end users)

  • Prepare extensive test plans and execute the functional test cases.

  • Product Demo and Workshops for prospects/ customers

  • Helping product marketing with product marketing collaterals

  • Be a single point external facing contact for presales, consulting teams

  • Good knowledge of current / emerging trends in retail banking products and banking technology

  • Good analytical, grasping and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High levels of initiative and creativity.

  • Good communication skills with all stake holders, good team player with ability to mentor juniors.

Secondary skills -

  • Familiarity and understanding of one or more Core Banking Applications

  • Strong analytical and functional skills

Experience: 8+ years.

Responsibilities

As a product Manager in the software engineering division, the candidate will independently manage Requirement Gathering, Functional design, Functional Testing, etc. as required. The candidate should possess extensive experience in Retail Banking domain as a Product Manager or Business Analyst with a technology provider or a global bank's IT/ Operations team with a minimum of 8 years of experience. He/ she should have detailed understanding of different retail banking products such as Current Accounts, Saving Accounts, Term Deposits, Credit Cards, home loans, auto loans, personal loans, education loans, overdrafts and term loans to individuals and small medium business segment with extensive knowledge on origination of these products. He/ she should be well-versed in retail credit assessment process for individuals and small and medium business. The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with various teams which includes product engineering, consulting, pre-sales, sales, etc. Should be able to handle both internal and external communications with superior presentation skills - both content and delivery.

Graduate or Master degree with 8 plus years experience relevant to the functional area.
