Job Description – PLM Infrastructure Administrator
Number of years of experience required – 5 to 12 years
Skill set
Must have:
Expertise in administration work on Windows server
License management & support (FlexLM)
Understanding of network / firewalls
Troubleshooting server & network issues
Administration / installation / upgrade experience for engineering applications ( PLM and CAD )
Administration of standard Windows applications / office suite
Expertise in client-server architecture
Should Have
Experience in Cloud based infrastructure
Project Management skills
Understanding of Oracle\SQL database
Teamcenter administration
site installations, upgrade, and maintenance
FMS, volume management, store & forward configuration
Active Workspace Solr & Indexer administration
Teamcenter administration utilities
Could Have
Linux/UNIX working experience
HPC – High Power Computing
Teamcenter On Cloud
Active Directory Support
GIT Experience
Experience for setting up engineering applications - MATLAB, LabVIEW, Cadence, GTI, PULSE, COMPEL, Dymola
PowerShell scripting
Job Inventory
Analyse business requirements for Teamcenter projects.
Coordinate with onsite team for requirement understanding, prototype demonstration and solution discussion
Install and configure technical environments with development tools as required by project.
Implement enhancement requests in Teamcenter Unified as per requirement & acceptance criteria from customer.
Prepare required documents like design specification, functional specification, unit test cases
Collaborate within and outside of automation team for understanding business processes and support Problem Management / RCA
Coordinate with product vendor for product related issues.
Impart training to users
Identify areas for process innovations and implement solutions to improve the productivity of end users in various aspects like time, data quality, lean process implementation etc.
