Job Summary

As the HR Generalist, candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all human resources functions for NASH Pune India workforce, as well as contribute / support to other HR activities which PFT INDIA may have, supporting other HR tasks, initiatives or projects within our PFT business in India. This position requires a dynamic individual with in- depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture. Individual will collaborate closely with senior management and employees to ensure a productive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a proactive response to managers and employee queries

  • Deliver the full employee lifecycle processes for the site including

  • Recruitment activities, from vacancy approval through to hire, supporting managers with interviews and compliance

  • offers and onboarding of new starters in line with company procedures

  • employee changes – process in line with authority levels and procedures, producing relevant letters, forms and notifications

  • benefit administration – processing in line with company procedures, answering queries

  • time and attendance – data processing and advising managers on queries

  • offboarding – processing in line with company procedures

  • Work with the site managers advising and supporting on

  • management of absence,

  • discipline and grievance,

  • redundancy,

  • training, and the

  • company policy

  • Advise managers on site compliance, in line with company policy and practice, and employment legislation.

  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements.

  • Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and maintain cordial relationships with relevant authorities, including labor officers, factory inspectors, and environmental bodies.

  • Support in the delivery of the annual processes:

  • compensation review

  • performance review

  • benefit renewals

  • reward and recognition

  • health and wellbeing

  • Co-ordinate and implement site activities, special lunches, Xmas activities etc.

  • Work alongside internal departments e.g. Finance, Payroll etc., to ensure data is correct and up to date

  • Participate in ad hoc project work

Basic Qualifications

  • MBA/PGDM in HR/Industrial Relations with knowledge of HR practices & labour law

  • Experience Required: 7-8 Years

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Candidate has to have the needed flexibility to travel (if needed) and support other work that PFT INDIA may have.

Absolute KEY skills needed for role

  • Experience in working in a Manufacturing environment / market or geography

  • Adaptability & flexibility - able to work independently and is self-sufficient but able to confidently reach out when support is required

  • Ability to multitask

  • Excel (Vlookup, Sorting and Filter) and PowerPoint skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Demonstrated success in advising managers on operational HR activities.

  • Knowledge of employment legislation and policies, procedures, and compliance
