You will be part of our Contract Logistics team adding your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational Excellence.

Your Role

You will be responsible for the overall performance of an operational site in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives.

Your Responsibilities

The activities needed to deliver these objectives include:

• To manage, plan, organize, staff, transport sub-contractors (and company fleet + drivers where applicable).

• To work closely with warehouse teams, ensuring efficient handover of products, daily transport planning, + reporting.

• To achieve your key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity, customer service + profit, safety + compliance in line with local legislation.

• To ensure your team(s) deliver against their customer, site + people key performance indicators (KPI).

• To drive all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence; collaborating at a site level.

• To drive productivity via engagement activities to create new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring your operation meets or exceeds their productivity targets.

• To contribute information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business.

Your Skills and Experiences

A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business; certifications like CILT/CLTD are a plus.

8+ years of experience in transport/logistics, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

Expertise in transport planning, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

Experience in managing teams, subcontractors, and driving productivity improvements.

Strong background in customer onboarding, retention, and business growth support.

Proficiency in TMS, fleet tracking tools, and performance analysis.
