Professional (+) (Fixed Term) Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: The position will perform work supporting scientific research including, sample collection, quantification, data entry, generation of summaries, and coordination of teamwork. Required Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent related field experience performing professional-level work with scientific or clinical research protocols. • Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. • Experimental and analytical skills; understanding and knowledge of research theory; interviewing experience; excellent organizational and project management skills. • One year of field experience in support of entomological research in pear insect and mite sampling including proficiency with identification of pear insects on beat trays and leaf brush samples. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience transcribing speech to text from recordings from sociological studies.
