Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. Program Manager (Contract Compliance) in Pullman, Washington
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable program manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide consultation on project compliance and risk during and after the contracting process, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements. This role involves proactive monitoring, reporting, and consultation on various compliance aspects, including prevailing wage, diversity spend, and liquidated damages. Key Responsibilities: Offer compliance consultation for contract terms that include: - Background check and drug testing requirements - Prevailing wage/Davis-Bacon - Liquidated damages Proactively monitor and report compliance on contracts with financial impact terms (e.g., liquidated damages, labor escalation, bonds). Advise project teams on subcontractor management and compliance with prevailing wage requirements (both pre-bid and post-signature), facilitating collaboration for certified payroll completion and implementing necessary tools and processes. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in compliance consultation, particularly in project-based environments. Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements, prevailing wage laws, and contract management. Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
