TEKsystems IT Technical Support Specialist in Pueblo, Colorado

Job Description:

IT Desktop Support for all hardware and COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) software used by employees and contractors across the organization. The successful team member will be customer-focused and motivated by successfully meeting service levels and department goals. They will be able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly while dealing with a high volume of requests. They will be committed, agile and have demonstrated the ability to maintain high levels of productivity with minimal supervision.

  • iOS (iPhone/iPad) troubleshooting experience

  • End user support/desktop services, 2+ years exp - Windows technologies - Win 10/11

  • A/V support; conference room technologies, i.e. Zoom/Teams rooms - Crestron and various hardware experience

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Acknowledge and update incidents and service requests within the approved service level agreements while keeping employees informed and ensuring follow-up is performed before resolving requests

• Follow all asset management procedures to ensure hardware and software records are updated and accurate

• Deploy (procure, image, configure, setup) and perform ongoing support for the following hardware: Windows desktops/laptops/tablets, Linux thin clients, Apple iPhones/iPads, printers/copiers, AV/VC conference room technology, digital signage, and IoT technology

• Deploy (procure, configure, update/upgrade, troubleshoot) and provide ongoing support for COTS software

• Must demonstrate ability to troubleshoot Window operating system incidents utilizing sound diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot or research technical problems

• iOS knowledge is critical and must understand the inner workings of iPhone/iPads to include setup, wipe, reset, and troubleshooting iOS, iPadOS and mobile apps

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary to perform in person and remote support

• Ensure system security and governance is compliant with regulations and company policy

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate and be engaged on project teams.

• Willingly accept all other duties as assigned.

• On-call support required on a rotation basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of two (2) years of technical experience supporting Windows, iOS/iPadOS, and conference room technology

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Intune and SCCM as they relate to Unified Endpoint Management

• Basic networking knowledge and the ability to trouble connectivity issues using test equipment and Cisco ISE familiarity

• Basic Active Directory management (users and computers)

• Basic knowledge of managing A/V assets using XiO Cloud, Biamp SageVue, and Shure SystemOn

• Window 10/11 basic troubleshooting

• Apple iOS/iPadOS basic troubleshooting

• Teams Rooms basic troubleshooting

• Canon imageRunner Advance MFP basic troubleshooting

• Strong attention-to-detail skills resulting in a high degree of accuracy and minimal rework in tasks performed.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously in order to prioritize activities.
