Job Description Summary

A skilled Supply Planner/PPIC - Specialist who will be responsible for production scheduling, managing and optimizing the supply chain process, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet market demand.

Job responsibilities :

• Production Planning:

• Develop and circulate production schedules to meet market demand while considering material availability, resources and capacity.

• Facilitate timely release of materials to execute production in line with schedule.

• Ensure timely batch documentation availability and issuance

• Create and release process orders for commercial, validation, submission, and engineering batches in SAP.

• Inventory management:

• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure that materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods are maintained at appropriate levels to meet production requirements

• Delivery:

• Meet site OTIF targets

• Ensure monthly dispatch and manufacturing commitments are met.

• Collaborate with Tech Ops and Project Management team on execution of new product launches and site transfer projects.

• Dispatch Coordination:

• Liaise with cross-functional team to ensure timely availability batch execution, release and document closure to meet committed dispatch plans.

• Coordinate with Logistics and warehouse team for container/vehicle arrangements.

• Initiate quarantine dispatch requests for high-priority products.

• Timely escalation:

• Highlight critical issues related to delivery and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive solutions.

• Maintain transparent communication in all intra and inter-departmental meetings and emails

• Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement:

• Analyze production and inventory data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to streamline processes

• Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity

• Reporting:

• Prepare and present routine reports on production and dispatch performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics

• Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards, including ISO 14001 & 5S

Qualification :

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a site planning role at a pharmaceutical company.
