WENCOR GROUP, LLC Engineering Metrology Intern in PROVO, Utah
Overview of the Position: Flexible part-time position assisting with the design of FAA approved aftermarket aircraft parts
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Use precision metrology measurement tools to analyze parts
Use 3D CAD software to develop and interpret drawings and scans
Support metrology and engineering as necessary
Manage time effectively and consistently meet task deadlines
Create dimensional data reports in Excel
Work closely with engineering and metrology groups to ensure departmental goals are achieved
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good oral/written communication skills
Quickly learn various metrology tools and concepts
Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
Perform metrology best practices to ensure proper measurement results
Safe and proper handling of parts
Navigate Siemans Teamcenter PLM software
Ability to present a professional demeanor and work habits
Computer skills using Windows and MS Office Suite
Education / Experience Requirements:Concurrent enrollment in university courses -- Engineering discipline preferred
