Meeting Street is currently looking for a School Social Worker to work 40 hours per week.
Duties:
- Identifies and assesses the social-emotional needs of students through a variety of formal and informal means.
- Determines and implements appropriate therapeutic strategies and supports to affect change in behavioral and social interactions of students, including individual and group counseling/support programs.
- Collaborates with school staff on a regular basis to identify and meet the needs of students.
- Conducts classroom lessons/meetings, social skills groups, and classroom presentations on identified areas of concern or need as identified by school staff and/or students.

Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Rhode Island Department of Health.
- Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) School Social Worker Certificate required.
- Must possess valid drivers license, reliable and insured transportation.
