Environmental Technician II will be responsible for the separation and packaging of hazardous material for transport and treatment and complete the required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures
Separate, sort, and pack hazardous material for transport
Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures
Keep the work area clean and organized during the course of the shift
Follow safety protocols for assigned tasks
Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
Pay starting at $20/hr.
Required:
Must be l8 years of age or older
Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack
Have the ability to read, write, and speak in English
Ability to wear company-provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel-toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator
Ability to move or lift 50lbs with the use of equipment if needed
Ability to follow written or verbal procedures consistently
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions
Preferred:
Has the ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift and possesses safe driving record.
Demonstrates knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and RCRA Regulations
Basic chemistry knowledge
