We are offering a long-term contract for a meticulous and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island. The primary function of this role is to manage and maintain accurate student records in our database, ensuring all entries and exits are recorded accurately. This role is pivotal in our industry, as you will be responsible for weekly and annual updates to the state.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain student database, ensuring all student records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Accurately enter new student enrolments into the database.

• Record student exits from the system, maintaining accuracy in all details.

• Carry out weekly updates with the state and provide annual updates throughout the year.

• Handle March Enrollment for School Funding Numbers.

• Conduct Federal Civil Rights Reporting from December to February.

• Extract and manipulate relevant information from the database, using Microsoft Excel.

• Operate and manage PowerSchool, our student information system.

• Utilize Google Sheets to record discipline, career, and tech information.

• Proactively reach out to staff to gather necessary data and translate it into the standard format.

Requirements • Proficiency in 10 Key Skills is mandatory for this role

• Strong customer service skills are required to handle client interactions

• Must have previous experience with data entry tasks

• Ability to manage email correspondence in a professional and efficient manner

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is necessary

• Experience in organizing files and maintaining an organized workspace

• Ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately

• Previous experience with scanning documents is required

• Excellent typing skills are necessary for data input.
